Colin Dech is a non-binary performing artist currently studying to get their BFA in Musical Theatre at Wright State University. Raider up! They are dedicated to developing the work ethic needed to soar in all facets of a career in the performing arts, both onstage and off.

Alongside performing, Colin is an active creator of original performance experiences. Their work includes Tiny Desk Night, a live band showcase dedicated to giving performers space to share their artistry outside of traditional theatre, and Ke$ha Night, a high-energy celebration of 2010s party culture through song and dance. They also helped produce the regional premiere of Andrea Staats’ “OMG! We Ate a Guy”, a dramatic farce that confronts racism and misogyny within the Mormon church.

Outside of their artistic work, Colin is a DEVOTED Ariana Grande fan, a lover of secondhand fashion, and a self-proclaimed “Diet Coke connoisseur”. With the best ways to enjoy a Diet Coke being as follows:

1. A Large McDonald’s Diet Coke at approximately 10:30 pm

2. A Crisp can from the fridge.

3. With the good ice. You know exactly what kind that is.
